THE 1% Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Sienna International Group LLC operates THE 1%, Android package com.siennainternationalgroup.dailyfive. This policy covers the current app with accounts, cloud backups, and advertising disabled, and our supporting website. Contact: team@ootsah.com.
Gameplay information on your device
The app stores daily results, category scores, XP, completed editions, saved game sessions, and preferences on your device so you can track progress and resume play. These records are not uploaded to us by the current game. No registration, sign-in, or Supabase cloud backup is enabled.
Optional reminders
If you enable reminders, the app stores your chosen time and reminder preference locally. It reads the device timezone and completed-edition information to schedule reminders. Notifications are scheduled on your phone, rather than sent by a remote push server. Android notification permission is requested when needed. You can turn reminders off using the bell settings or Android notification settings. The app can reschedule reminders after a restart or app update. It does not use GPS to determine your timezone.
Score sharing
Sharing is optional. When you choose to share your score, the app passes score text to the Android share sheet. The destination you choose receives the information you send and handles it under its own privacy practices. The app does not automatically publish scores to us or a public leaderboard.
Advertising and cloud services
AppLovin MAX and Supabase integration code is included, but advertising and cloud-account services are disabled in this release. No rewarded video is available. The app does not initialize these services through its configured advertising and account flows in this release. We will update this policy and relevant disclosures before enabling services that change how information is handled.
Permissions and device services
The app uses local storage and device notification services. Its Android manifest includes internet access for service integrations, notification permission for optional reminders, and restart handling for reminder scheduling. This release does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise device location. Google Play, Android, and device backup services operate separately under their own policies and settings.
Website visits and support emails
The supporting website does not include our own analytics trackers, advertising pixels, registration forms, or subscription forms. Its sample question runs locally in your browser. Hostinger hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, and request times to serve and secure the website. The site's own code does not set cookies or use browser storage for the sample question.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use it to respond to support, privacy, or other requests. Hosting and email providers may process that information to provide their services. Please do not send passwords or payment information.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
Local game records remain until removed using Android app-storage controls or other available reset controls. Clearing app storage deletes saved progress and preferences; this cannot be undone by us. Android or device backup settings may preserve copies separately. There is no developer-operated cloud gameplay backup or account to delete in this release.
Support emails are retained as needed to resolve requests and keep necessary business records. Hosting-log retention depends on the provider and hosting configuration. To request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us, email team@ootsah.com. We may verify ownership and retain information where legal or security obligations require it.
Security and children’s information
Local data is handled using the device's app-storage facilities. Protect your device and review its backup settings. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. This release has no account form and does not ask players to provide a name, age, or email address. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us by email, contact us so we can review and address it.
Policy changes and contact
We will update this policy when our practices change. Material new data uses will be accompanied by appropriate notices and permission or consent requests where required. For privacy questions, contact Sienna International Group LLC at team@ootsah.com.
